Opal Elwell (aka Naughty Little No Good) is a New York-based puppetry artist who is drawn to the bizarre and unspoken. Exploring themes such as grief, religion, and hunger, her recent works include “BESTIFUSEDBY: a milky elegy” and “Hymen Opus”. Opal has taken part in “Concrete Boom: Vol 4” at Dixon Place, attended Alice Gottshalk's "Puppets, Robots & Hybrid Marionettes!" Intensive at The O’Neill Theatre Center’s National Puppetry Pre-Conference, and recently performed at the 12th annual New Orleans Giant Puppet Festival.
